Pharmahungary Group Wins Prestigious EIT Health Innostars Award to Advance Groundbreaking miRNA Therapy Development

Pharmahungary Group is proud to announce that it has been awarded funding under the EIT Health Innostars Awards – Investment Track to accelerate the development of its pioneering miRNAI project, aimed at revolutionizing drug discovery for some of the world’s deadliest diseases.

The miRNAI project envisions a world where effective drugs are available for all diseases. Leveraging artificial intelligence and network theory, the project is developing a disruptive, AI-driven drug discovery platform that facilitates microRNA-based drug design and development. This cutting-edge technology targets diseases with complex molecular pathologies, such as ischemic heart disease and cancer, which remain among the leading causes of death globally.

By significantly reducing the time and costs of the traditional drug development process, the miRNAI platform offers a transformative approach to identifying and optimizing new therapeutic candidates. Currently, two lead drug candidates for acute myocardial infarction are already in the lead optimization stage, marking a major milestone toward next-generation treatments.

The EIT Health Innostars Award recognizes Pharmahungary Group’s commitment to innovation and excellence in biotech research, supporting the company’s mission to make advanced, life-saving therapies accessible worldwide.
